1. SPACE The actual size of the Pro-B sunless tanning booth is 135cm wide, by 160cm front to back, by 217cm high
When considering where the Pro-B booth is to be positioned, consider that the booth needs to be filled with tanning liquid from the rear.
The customer needs a chair - mirror - table to put jewellery on - floor space to have a clean dry towel to stand on.
So the minimum size of the room for the booth is approx 2.5m by 3m with a ceiling height of 2.25m
2. ELECTRICITY The electrical supply should be single phase 230vac 16 amp (Pro-B takes 14 amp).
Check that all electrical equipment on the selected circuit for Pro-B do not exceed the circuit rating
3. WATER - CLEANING The booth glass only needs to be cleaned once a day but the floor of the booth should be cleaned after every use, so a water supply nearby is convenient.
It takes approx. 1.5L of water to clean the floor followed with a dry cloth to make it nice for the next customer. The booth can be connected to a waste water pipe or a small pump is available to pump the waste water into a hand basin or plastic bottle which can be emptied periodically.
4. ACCESSORIES Customers must be given a clean towel to stand on, and a clean dry towel to wipe their hands on plus plastic booties and shower cap (optional). All available from Pro-B.
5. PRO-B POLICY Please note that for us to build an international reputation of caring for clients it is essential that only trained people deal with the clients and operate the Pro-B booth.
6. DHA STORAGE It is very important that the salon has storage for DHA at temperature between +3 to +12. To go below +3 will destroy the DHA and to exceed the +12 will age the liquid fast so that it becomes unacceptable to use. Also the liquid must be kept in a darkened area or covered. In a refrigerator is fine BUT NOT IN THE FREEZER SECTION.
